I stayed at a wonderful holiday home with free WiFi and a cozy fireplace. The view was breathtaking, and I even got to go hiking nearby! Just perfect.
Oh, and how could I forget the inconvenience of having to wash my clothes with a washing machine provided. So tiresome.

We stayed in the house right by the entrance, offering privacy and a quick walk to the village. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The kids loved the games room and football pitch, while our dog enjoyed playing fetch in the lake. The hosts, Alan and Audrey, were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend the loop walk route for beautiful scenery. A wonderful, relaxing break for the whole family!
My wife says that Wi-Fi in the house would have been helpful.

I had a fantastic stay at Castlehamilton Cottages And Activity Centre. Audrey and Alan, the owners, were cute and accommodating. They even went the extra mile to wash my dog's bed and provide a spare one. The hotel is clean and quiet, perfect for a peaceful getaway. My teenagers had a blast in the game room, playing billiards and table tennis. The location is also great, with a beautiful lake nearby where we could rent a boat. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be returning in the future.

Glorious Holiday Retreat: Surrounded by nature and tranquility, this gem of a vacation spot offers cozy cottages with stunning lake or garden views. Each cottage comes with its own kitchen, perfect for unleashing your inner Gordon Ramsay. One evening, while cooking up a storm, I couldn't help but feel like a culinary maestro on my very own episode of MasterChef.
Limited Wi-Fi Availability: Wi-Fi was not available in the cottage, which posed a slight challenge for the kids. However, it was a blessing in disguise, as it allowed us to disconnect from the virtual world and reconnect with each other.

The cottage we stayed in was huge and super clean, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The hosts, Audrey and Alan, were lovely people who were always there for us with kind words and advice. We were thrilled that we could bring our dog with us and enjoy the beautiful walks and lake swimming in the tranquil location. The kitchen was the best stocked we've ever seen in a holiday home, and the washing machine and dishwasher were amazing. The surrounding area offered plenty of activities, from angling to horse riding, and the village of Killeshandra was a charming place to explore. we had an lovely holiday and would highly recommend Castlehamilton Cottages and Activity Centre.

Free WiFi was non-existent in the house, but it was a great excuse for the kids to take a break from gaming. Besides, who needs internet when you have a lovely view, helpful hosts, well-equipped house, and the joy of bringing our dog along?
The only downside was the less-than-ideal cooker/oven, but hey, it was still useable. Can't have everything, right?

We had an incredible time at Castlehamilton! the house was spotlessly clean and the location was perfect for beautiful forest walks and lake activities. Being able to bring our dogs was a huge bonus. Audrey & Alan were amazing hosts, providing us with helpful advice and even giving us free access to a rowing boat to explore the lake. We can't wait to return!
Felt right at home, no complaints!

With a fully equipped kitchen, I felt like a master chef creating culinary masterpieces during my stay. It was like having my own personal restaurant! The DVD player in the unit kept me entertained with my favorite movies, making me feel like I had my very own mini cinema right in the comfort of my cottage. The spacious desk allowed me to comfortably catch up on some work while enjoying the beautiful views outside. It was like having my own office with a breathtaking backdrop. Waking up to the stunning lake or garden views from the unit made me feel like I had stepped into a painting. It was pure serenity and beauty all around. The hairdryer provided in each unit was a lifesaver. It's the little things that make a difference, and I appreciated not having to lug around my own bulky hairdryer.
Limited dining options nearby.
